What’s the difference between BKS Privé & BKS?

At Bakoh Studio, we take great pride in offering the finest beauty solutions. Consequently, we only select the healthiest virgin human hair to craft all of our bundles, closures and frontals.

BKS Privé is our premium collection of naturally straight pieces which have never been processed in any way. BKS is an amazing pick when you are looking for versatility without compromising on quality. This other collection carries out different colours and textures.
What is virgin hair?

Virgin hair refers to human hair that has never been altered. It is free from harsh chemicals such as perm, bleach or dye. Every Bakoh Studio collection is handcrafted with 100% virgin human hair that was ethically and meticulously selected. We never use synthetic or animal fibers!

Where does the hair come from?

Bakoh Studio hair is ethically sourced from temples across India.

What hair textures do you offer?

BKS Privé offers a naturally straight texture with a radiant sheen. Since the hair is unprocessed and gathered from one person’s head for each piece, its pattern and dark colour may slightly vary from bundle to bundle.

Our BKS collection provides straight, wavy and curly textures. We achieve these particular patterns by only using the steam-texture technique. It allows the hair to hold waves and curls in the most gentle and efficient way.

All of our extensions have the cuticles in the same alignment. This method preserves natural movement and softness and prevents the hair from tangling too.

Style & Maintenance


How to wash this hair?

Wash and condition the hair at least once a week. Always massage the shampoo or the conditioner in a downward motion and rinse thoroughly with cool to lukewarm water. Then set it out to air dry it or use a cotton towel.


What products should I use to look after it?

Keep styling products to a minimum to prevent weighing the hair down. To lock the moisture in, you can apply small amounts of oils, such as almond or argan on your lengths. Serum and hair masks work wonders too!

Use a leave-in conditioner on damp hair for extra moisture: every two weeks or once a month to avoid build up. Make sure the products you treat the hair with are preferably lightweight, organic as well as phosphate, sulfate and alcohol free.
Can I straighten or curl this hair?

BKS Privé & BKS hair can be straightened or curled as long as you proceed very carefully. Our hair must be cared for and handled gently — as if it was growing out your scalp. When you blow-dry, flat iron or use a curling wand on any of our bundles, frontals or closures, make sure to apply heat protectant. We want you to experience our creations in the best manner and for as long as possible so we do not recommend the use of hot tools on a daily basis. It may cause heat damage and other types of harm in the long haul.
Can I bleach or dye these extensions?

Yes, you can have all the fun you want with Bakoh Studio hair! It can be bleached, dyed, toned or lightened. But always keep in mind that since our extensions are made from human hair; They are the real deal so they require the same level of attention to keep them gorgeous! We highly recommend that any chemical alteration be done by a professional hairstylist or colorist. Should you try it yourself, please always do strand tests since any harsh chemical process may change the texture and/or pattern.

To keep things simple, check our BKS collection! There are blond bundles, closures and frontals so you could just work things from here! Note that dark pigments are removed delicately to ensure that our hair remains in mint condition when it gets to you.

Can I exercise with this hair on?

Bakoh Studio hair suits active lifestyles. So yes, you can work out or even swim! However, make sure to follow a few protective steps since salt (in your sweat or seawater) and chlorine will reduce the lifespan of your extensions in the long run.

Before you hit the gym, apply a thin layer of leave-in conditioner. Put the hair in a not-too-tight ponytail or braid them. Wear a headband to absorb some of the sweat running down your neck and forehead. If you’re planning on taking a dip in a pool or in the sea, please wear a cap.

Do I need an account to order?

No, you can check out as a guest! Though having an account means you will be able to log into your account and keep track of your order history.

Where does Bakoh Studio ship to?

We ship worldwide for free! So no matter where you live, you can treat yourself with our products.

When will you process and ship my order?

We process your order as quickly as possible. Standard shipping usually takes 8 business days. When it’s ready to ship, you will get an email with a tracking number. If you can’t find your order confirmation, we recommend checking your junk folder.

Please note that shipping times may vary depending on location. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, our carrier may sometimes experience slight delays.

During periods of high volume, such as sales and major promotions, it may take us longer to process your order. We ask for your understanding and patience while we do our best to sort everything for you.

Do you offer next day delivery?

Can I edit my shipping address?

Please, contact us at help@bakohstudio as soon as you realise you have entered an incorrect shipping address. If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we may be able to change it for you.

Will I have to pay for customs or import taxes?

Bakoh Studio offers free delivery but we are not responsible for any additional customs or import taxes. This will depend on your country’s own set of regulations.


Return & Refunds


I’ve made a mistake while placing my order. Can I cancel or change it?

Unfortunately, we are unable to amend or cancel orders once they have been confirmed. If you wanna exchange or return something once your parcel has been delivered, please refer to the rest of this section below.

I want to return a product. What should I do?

We’re sorry to hear that you have changed your mind but if you need to return something, you have 14 business days to do so.

All of our products are thoroughly inspected before we pack and ship them. If there something's not quite right with yours or you have received the wrong item, please get in touch with help@bakohstudio.com.

Please note that with returns, any product must be sent in its original condition and packaging. All lace must be intact with no cutting and the tag still on. Once we've double-checked everything, we will happily issue a voucher (same value as your original order).
Any return request received after 14 business days of original purchase will not be examined nor honored.

I have never received my order. What do I do?

Bakoh Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen orders. But we will be happy to get this sorted for you. Please, email our team at help@bakohstudio.com with as much information as possible, including your order number and full delivery address so we can open an investigation with the carrier. Once everything is cleared out, we will send another parcel with the previously ordered items.
